Two-day hybrid event convenes partners for scientific exchange, project updates, and strategic alignment

The CERTAINTY Annual Meeting 2025 was held on 10–11 March 2025 at the Institut Curie in Paris, bringing together partners for two days of collaborative sessions, knowledge sharing, and forward-looking discussions. The event followed a hybrid format, welcoming 50 participants on-site and 12 attendees online.

Highlights from Day 1

The meeting began with welcome remarks and a full programme of presentations. The first morning block covered updates on project management, dissemination, data integration, and regulatory coordination. Key sessions included progress on data governance agreements and virtual twin model development.

Later in the morning, sessions explored prognostic and predictive modelling approaches, with presentations on both mechanistic and machine learning methods.

After a joint lunch and group photo, the afternoon focused on data preparation, IT infrastructure, and implementation architecture. A technical session on methods used across the project featured talks on single-cell analysis platforms, wet lab models, T cell signature exploration, and integrated molecular profiling approaches.

The day concluded with a session on long-term project sustainability, followed by a group dinner in central Paris.

Highlights from Day 2

The second day opened with technical demonstrations and conceptual overviews of backend infrastructure, survival-based clustering tools, and real-time analysis interfaces. This was followed by updates on the experimental validation work package, including research on CAR T cell therapy and multi-omic profiling of immune dynamics.

The agenda then turned toward real-world implementation of the virtual twin and engagement with patient perspectives.

The meeting closed with a joint session on the shared vision for the project, followed by concluding reflections and lunch.

Looking ahead

The annual meeting offered an important opportunity to assess progress, refine collaborative workflows, and align scientific directions for the coming year. With shared commitment, the CERTAINTY consortium is well-positioned to advance its mission of developing a credible, patient-centred virtual twin solution in cancer immunotherapy.
